Munka Tenn launches a small bonbonniere with a knob on the lid IN LAPIS LAZULI

The bonbonniere measures 8 × 8 cm with a height of 4 cm, is highly polished, made in Sweden and designed by Fredrik Strömblad. A small but distinctive object product where material, form and craftsmanship are at the center.

Sweden has a long and vibrant tradition of craftsmanship in the design and manufacture of pewter. With our own designed products, we want to carry this tradition forward – with design, manufacture and completion in Sweden.

We have previously chosen to work with strict, simple lines – a design language that reflects the Swedish flair. Combined with the high craftsmanship that our pewter craftsman possesses, this has resulted in two exclusive boxes: one with a malachite knob, the other in lapis lazuli.

Work on this box has been ongoing throughout 2025. The process has required several crucial steps – from design and technical solutions to enable the sharp lines and edges that the design requires, to procurement of carefully selected stones from distant lands and finally to making all components interact in a harmonious whole.

We are proud to now be able to launch this box in a numbered edition, where each copy is signed by the designer and marked with the year - a contemporary craft item created to live on across generations.
