Terms of purchase and complaints for Munka Tin
1. Purchase
A purchase agreement is entered into when Munka Tenn confirms the order with an order confirmation. The order confirmation is generated automatically. If delivery times change after the order is placed, the customer will be informed as soon as possible. Munka Tenn retains ownership of all products until full payment has been received from the customer.
2. Pricing
Prices are listed including VAT in our webshop for consumers. The webshop prices are always applicable, and it is the customer's responsibility to stay informed about current prices. Once an order is confirmed, the prices on the website apply and can only be changed under circumstances beyond Munka Tenn's control, such as significantly altered raw material costs, exchange rate fluctuations, or changes in VAT. No handling fees are added.
3. Shipping
Shipping and packaging costs are added for orders under 1,200 SEK. Orders of 1,200 SEK or more qualify for free shipping.
For international orders, shipping costs are charged separately and are paid by the customer.
4. Payment Terms
Payment can be made via card payment, Swish, COD (cash on delivery), or prepayment invoice.

5. Deliveries
Products in stock are normally shipped within 4 working days after we receive your order. Packages are delivered by DHL or other carriers partnered with Munka Tenn. For private customers, delivery is made to the nearest DHL Service Point chosen by Munka Tenn unless the customer specifies another DHL Service Point in advance. Changes to the Service Point outside this agreement are at the customer’s expense.
6. Delivery Delays
Occasionally, delivery delays occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as when a supplier cannot fulfill their commitments to us. In such cases, Munka Tenn disclaims liability for damages caused by the delay.
7. Transport Risk
Together with our shipping partners, we bear the transport risk, i.e., the risk of the product being damaged or lost during transport from our warehouse to you. However, the customer and the carrier bear the risk for any return shipments to us.
8. Damaged Goods
When you receive your product, it is important to inspect it immediately. If the packaging and contents are damaged, report this to the carrier (as the carrier is responsible for the transport). Document the damage on the shipping receipt upon delivery and note the type of damage. Always save the confirmation of the damage.
If the packaging is damaged, take pictures before opening it. Notify us immediately, including photos of the packaging damage. Hidden damages related to the contents must also be reported to the carrier.
For defects unrelated to transport, such as missing items or incorrect products, notify Munka Tenn immediately in writing, but no later than three days after receiving the goods. Email us at [email protected].
9. Complaints
To file a complaint about a damaged or incorrect product, submit it in writing via email or letter within one week. Always keep the packaging, original box, and proof of purchase. If returning a damaged item, it must be sent back in its original packaging.
Complaints only cover original defects, meaning issues present at the time of delivery. They do not apply if we find no defect or if the customer caused the damage. Normal wear and tear are not covered. Note that slight variations in color or shape, due to the artisanal nature of the products, are not grounds for complaints.
Munka Tenn is responsible for product defects for up to one year, covering only the original defect present at delivery. Munka Tenn is not liable for consequential damages or defects caused by the customer.
For products like vases, trays, pots, and wine coolers that may come into contact with water, it is the buyer’s responsibility to verify that they are watertight upon receipt. Consequential damages due to leakage are not covered.
10. Canceling a Purchase
Under consumer law, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the product. The product must be unused and returned in its original packaging, packed as it was when delivered.
To cancel a purchase, contact Munka Tenn to receive a return shipping label. Attach the label to the package and drop it off at a DHL Service Point. The returned goods will be inspected to ensure they are in original condition. Refunds are issued via Klarna.
The customer is responsible for both initial and return shipping costs. The refund amount equals the product price minus shipping costs.
Refunds are processed within 5 days after Munka Tenn receives and approves the return. If the product is not in original condition, it will be returned to the customer, and the cancellation will not apply. Additional shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
11. Refunds
Refunds are issued via Klarna or another payment service within 5 working days after the return is approved.
12. Reservations
We reserve the right to change prices due to significant price changes from our suppliers, typographical errors, or circumstances beyond our control.
13. Force Majeure
In the event of war, natural disasters, labor disputes, government decisions, or comparable events beyond our control that were not reasonably foreseeable and affect our commitments, we are released from our obligations under these agreements.
Any disputes will be resolved in arbitration court.
