A solid pewter mug with brass rim, designed by Fredrik Strömblad. With its weight of 120 grams, it rests firmly in the hand and conveys a sense of duration, balance and classic craftsmanship. This mug should not be compared to turned thin mugs that usually weigh only 40 grams and are machine-made.
The mug is made in Sweden by skilled craftsmen, where each piece is characterized by meticulous work and respect for the material. The soft luster of the pewter meets the warm tone of the brass in an expression that combines tradition with timeless simplicity. Only the brass stripe that runs around the rim gives the mug its own character and distinguishes it from simpler mugs. It also requires great skill from our craftsmen to insert the brass wire in the production.
Each mug is stamped with the designer's signature, Munka Tenn, and the year, and is individually numbered - a discreet but clear mark of its origin and limited character.
It is particularly suitable as a gift for baptisms or other celebrations – a personal possession to carry with you throughout life. With engraving, such as a name, date or a short greeting, the mug becomes a keepsake for generations.
An object to use, preserve and pass on.
